February 4, 2019
Ahh February. The cold drags on, football season is over and spring break is still weeks away. Luckily the team at Solera|AutoPoint has the dish on all the trends and technology debuted at NADA last month to keep everyone’s spirits up.
What was everyone buzzing about?
Veteran attendees know full well that NADA is the time to bring out the big guns. Lots of companies take this opportunity to unveil new software and tech, hoping to catch dealers’ eyes with industry-disrupting solution. This year’s belle of the ball? Integrated workflow from Solera|AutoPoint. Customers were impressed with the extensive functionality of this seamless workflow and our Sales team loved showing it off.
We also managed to bag a trophy of our own this awards season! We’re proud to announce that Solera|AutoPoint received the 2018 CRM Fixed Ops Dealer Satisfaction Award for the Multi-Point Inspection solution. Multi-Point is our complete service command center that gives dealers control over their entire service department. A big thanks to our customers who nominated us!
Standout seminars
The 2018 NADA Chairman, Wes Lutz, spoke in the kickoff general session and announced the new phase of the NADA Foundation, a joint effort between NADA and ATD to grow the technician industry and provide education and resources for those professionals. NADA Foundation’s new website helps technicians find local training opportunities and hosts a variety of content for techs to read and watch.
The momentum of inspiring seminars reached its peak on the final day of NADA. The morning’s general session speaker, Major Dan Rooney, a fighter pilot, PGA golfer, author, philanthropist and founder of Folds of Honor, gave a moving talk about personal accountability and unplugging from technology to serve a greater purpose.
The show closed with a rousing session from author and entrepreneur Bill Rancic. Notable headliners of previous days included comedian Dana Carvey and 2019 NADA Chairman Charlie Gilchrest.
